Last night we played our first show in London and it went better than we could imagine. The night was hosted by Kal Lavelle at the World's End pub in Finsbury Park. She provided free sweets and roast poatatoes and yorkshire puddings, so so nice of her.

We've been having a little break these last couple weeks although the last fews days have been busy prepairing for Beach break Live next week! at the moment we're getting every single form signed and sent off so that we can hand you guys out some wristbands at the festival! each wristband will have a pin code that you'll have to enter into MusicPin to get free downloads of all our current demos. We're also finishing off some new songs we hope to play in the near future!

Onto the main subject of this post, we will be the featured act at the Open Mic night at the Star Inn this coming tuesday (14th/Jun) in our hometown Guildford. Also hosting/featured is Connor McDonald, a new up & coming blues guitarist. It starts at 8 pm and it's free so if you have nothing else to do on a tuesday night, come along. This will be our first time playing at The Star so we're looking forward to it, as we do with every venue of course!

Also! it's Malena's 18th Birthday today!! wooo, we all wish her a wonderfully happy birthday :)

She has a bunch of YouTube videos of acoustic cover songs and originals that have been viewed by the hundreds of thousands, literally! we're so excited to be part of supporting at her show!! she plays flawlessly and it seems that she has a real connection with her fans, which are all very loyal and it's probably the most important thing to have as an Artist.

Also playing will be Mike Dignam who is Kate's touring support act. He has a good following as well, supporting Joe Brooks on his tour last year. He's also playing at a very high standard of Acoustic Pop so we hope we'll be at our best too! Lastly but not leastly, Jake Watson will open the show. A relatively new young solo artist, performing a mixture of Folk, Blues and Country music and damn good at it.

We're really looking forward to this Monday and we'd be happy to see any of our fans there too, though we know the place will be stuffed with lovely Kate McGill, Mike Dignam and Jake Watson supporters! Doors open at 7:00pm, £5 entry and we'll be on second I think. Feel free to chat and get to know us! :-)

The idea behind it is to film bands perform acoustically in their bedrooms. It's a very intimate and honest way of showing you the music we create. The girls were super sweet and joyful to work with. We had a lot of fun doing this and we hope to do some more in the future! The first video released is "Rain At Night" but we also filmed "Motorcycle journey" which will be released in a few weeks. So as some may know, we played at the Great Escape last Friday (13/05/11) ACM had their own showcase organized at the Komedia from 12pm to 4pm. We thought it would be too early for people to turn up but we realised that a lot of people are not lazy sleazeballs like us when we saw they'd turned up..

We were on second, a quick line check and straight in. The performance went by in no time and although we had a couple of mishaps on stage there was good response! We were able to give all of our demos away almost immediately, albeit only 40 of them. The other acts (Jazz Morley, Trails, The General, Brother & Bones and Coda) all played amazingly and we felt so privileged to be on the same bill as them.

We had a little walk around afterwards for some some sight seeing and lunch, it was such a beautiful day we all felt like moving to Brighton. The city has such a nice atmosphere, wonderful architecture and random shops here and there. We hope to go back someday soon! we love Brighton!

Oh how i was nervous, but our interviewer Hannah Dorman kept us calm and so the interview went smoothly. We played Rain at Night and then Never Talked About live, so if you havent had the chance to hear us live you can watch the interview again this thursday at 9pm on Hannah Dorman show . Imagine my face after i realised we were being filmed when i had made little attempt to look nice for radio..... never again... just incase. But vanity aside, we look forward to doing more of this sort :)

The bigger news however is that we've been booked in to play The Great Escape this year! playing on May 13th, Friday afternoon. A lot of other local bands from Guildford have been put on the bill too so go visit The Great escape website to get tickets and more info to this great event!

In other news, I'm sad that Barcelona lost the Spanish cup final tonight to Real Madrid but I'm sure Axel is real happy right now.

- We will be playing at The Royal Oak Pub in Guildford on Monday 25th April. The pub is situated directly behind the Holy Trinity Church on Guildford High Street and it will be FREE entry. Headlining will be Josh Edwards and The Language, a local "Acoustic Shoe-gaze" Folk band, He's a super nice guy too, not in a creepy way mind you. Check them on Facebook, Myspace or Soundcloud
